Petitions

 

Nominating petitions are now available for persons interested in running for election to the Hartford Public Schools Board of Education.  Candidates must file a petition, or pay a $100 nonrefundable fee in lieu of a petition.  They must also file an Affidavit of Identity and Proof of Citizenship by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014

 

There will be two 6 year terms available.

 

Petitions and affidavit forms can be obtained at the Board of Education office, 115 School Street, Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 3:30 p.m. Those seeking petitions must be registered voters, eighteen (18) years of age, a resident of Michigan for six (6) months and of the district for thirty (30) days.

 

The annual school elections will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
