Evaluating student achievement is performed by studying data from several sources. A partial list of the sources HPS uses to determine student achievement is the MME, MEAP,  NWEA, Renaissance Place, Dibbles, Read Naturally.  Additionally, teacher observation, parent and community input and sources such as VBISD are used extensively in our evaluations of our students and the services we offer.

Below is a graph that shows the trend in MEAP (MME) testing for HPS compared to the state of Michigan.  Our increases in performance far outpace the state requirements which is indicative of the trend we have seen for years at HPS.
